Using a responsible approach, we have chosen to use eco-responsible materials.

 

FABRICS

100% of our fabrics are manufactured and produced by Italian family businesses in Milano and Como as the expert in textile ‘Ruffo Colli’. We are also proud are using solar energy for their production. 95% of our fabrics are made entirely of fibers of natural and/or recycled origin and GOTS certified. Our clothes are made of noble qualitative materials that allow maximum longevity.

PRODUCTION


All of our production is executed in France, Marseille by the 13 A’tipik. Which allows the reduction of C02 emissions and promotes a local economy without any exploitation. Due to this short circuit, we are able to respond to your request quickly and optimally.

BEADING

We are developing artwork and techniques of our precious embroidery in France. The production is made by ‘Fine stitches’ our embroidery manufacture in Mumbai, India, by embroiderers with traditional expertise working in a responsible factory from a human point of view.

The design and conception of GOMIS clothing is fully integrated and carried out in our studio located in Marseille, France.

MATERIALS POLICY

The embroidery is made from sequins produced in the UK by the Sustainable Sequins Company from recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate), usually made from recycled plastic bottles. As for the pearls, they are of natural origin (wood) or from dead stock, avoiding production and reducing emissions.

Our next challenge is to integrate this expertise into our production chain in France in order to limit the environmental impact, and consequently reduce CO2 emissions.
